I obtained my Master's degree in 'Agri-food production and agro-ecosystems management' at the University of Pisa in 2016, focusing on soil microbiology. In the same year, I moved to Germany where I took part in the European project BestPass within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions. In this context, I carried out intensive research and development at a biotechnology company with the aim of bringing improved microbial products to the market. During the same period, I collaborated with the Leibniz institute in Großbeeren and the Humboldt University in Berlin. During 2019 I returned to Italy, where I consulted on the design and development of start-ups in the biotechnology field. Since 2020, I have held the position of Head of Research and Development in an Italian biotech company for which I was responsible for, among other things, product development and the management of numerous national and international projects.
“Giving concrete form to innovative ideas has always been the most interesting part of my job. This is why I joined Smart Revolution in September 2022, where I contribute to making good ideas and ambitious projects concrete realities.”
